Ingrid was born and raised in Maracaibo, Venezuela.  Spanish being her native language, she is well-versed in Latin music.  At the age of seven, she learned the basic dance steps to her favorite dances:  salsa, cha cha, and joropo.  She continued to learn others formally and informally through dance school and social events.  Ingrid is a graduate of LUZ (La Universidad del Zulia) in Maracaibo.  As Luna’s newest Zumba instructor, Ingrid brings us her highly energetic and refreshingly inspired choreography.  More importantly, Ingrid never leaves home without her sassy sense of humor.  She has been known to "wake up" the class with her version of "Espresso."  And there's never a dull moment when she's there to remind students in her sexy Venezuelan accent, "It's salsa, people.  Make it spicy!"
