How to order food from a restaurant....

Many women have trouble sticking to their diets because they eat out a lot. Some women eat out because they don't want to cook or don't like to cook. Others have no choice because of their work travels or business meetings.

Rule number 1 in eating at a restaurant is portion control. Most places serve way too much food! So, eat more of the protein and veggies on your plate and less of the starch. Since you won't have your measuring scale with you, judge your portions based on the size of your fist. Anything bigger than that needs to be put aside for a snack or meal at another time.

Rule number 2 is to eat until you are full and then ask for a to go box. Get the food away from being in front of you or you will be tempted to keep nibbling! This is especially true in meetings that can go on and on long after you are done eating. So box up the left overs and eat them for lunch tomorrow.

Rule number 3.....just say No!!! For all the paces that offer chips and salsa or bread and butter complimentary before you order.....JUST SAY NO! This will save you a ton of calories and will help you to not over eat your meal!
