Bye Bye Hip and Arm Pain!
This past Thursday I did yet another private yoga session to hold true to my New Year's Resolution of gaining more flexibility and to reduce my high stress levels. This time in 45 minutes we only did 3 poses and it all ended with Jezy walking on my back for 15 minutes. She calls it "Barefoot Shiatzu" (which she is certified to perform); I call it just another one of her torture treatments. No pain no gain right?
Let me just tell you that within about an hour of our session ending my arm pain that had kept me from weight training and sleeping good ALL of last week was 80% better. And now it's Monday, and it's barely even noticeable. As for my hip pain, IT IS GONE! I honestly can't remember the last time my hips haven't hurt or bothered me. This weekend I realized, holy cow, my hips aren't inflamed or tight. Hallelujah!
This week's schedule for me is a 2 hour massage with Jezy (AKA Wolverine) and a hypnotherapy session with Dr. Jeanine! Oh, and by the way my blood pressure is back to 110/70 versus the 140/90 that it had been for the whole year of 2009! Looking forward to a week of stress free work and helping other women meet their goals!
