Training Tip of the week!!

Kick it up a notch BAM!! Small bursts of heart pumping cardio during your workout can do more for heart health and fat burning than long slow monotonous treadmill or eliptical burns. 30 minuts of cardio of with high intensity intervals will do you more good than an hour of slow consistent walking!! Small changes make a difference!

Its routine that can be the death of progress. So making small adjustments can wake up the flow of change and get you back into the flow. From a physical standpoint workouts that don't change consistently will end up doing us less good. We have talked about this before...it's also true mentally that the mind can stagnate. But we don't have to change a million things or big giant things small reminders and actions can pay large dividends. Try changing the order of your morning routine, sleep on the other side of the bed, brush your teeth with your other hand (the one I have been using recently is wearing my watch on the other wrist) notice how resistant you are to change and let it be a reminder to always be moving forward. On the flip side make sure change isn't your escape from dealing with issues. Break free of mind numbing activities and when we are fully in touch with your feelings, both physical and emotional then true changes can take place.
