Acceptance
You have your way. I have my way. As for the right way, the correct way, and the only way, it does not exist.”
Friedrich Nietzsche quotes
For everything you have missed, you have gained something else, and for everything you gain, you lose something else.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson quotes

Fitness Tip of the week:
Core work.
NO not crunches (which consequently are NOT the best core exercises) Lets talk abdominal wall and low back issues. Your goal may be to have a flat belly for tight jean wearing…but the ultimate is to have a strong, pain free back!! Often we are taught to “tuck” the tailbone to achieve this. As I work in the fitness industry I find that we may be OVER Tucking…that instead our goal should be PULLING the pelvis forward by engaging the low core. Practice in a mirror looking at your posture, your low back curve is natural and necessary we aren’t trying to get rid of it which is what happens when we over tuck, instead use a more subtle approach and tighten the low ab muscles to SLIGHTLY pull the pelvic floor up and forward…NOW you are engaged and the back is protected…don’t leave home (or do any excersize without it)
Aminda’s Musings:
I often spend a lot of time searching for the perfect quotes for the week…but these were literaly the second and third quotes I read today…as if I REALLY needed to hear what they have to say. It’s all about accepting. Not giving in and giving up but allowing, for differences, in thought deed and actions. Accept yourself for who you are…your family….your friends. Forgiveness and love…that’s all you need. Work within the parameters, love your humanity and allow for it in others. We are all heroes of our own story and every hero has an achilles heel...a tragic flaw….that keeps them real and human. Become aware and work with rather than against your unique challenges and you will find that you can still recognize your eternal perfection within the imperfect humanity.
