Fat Burning, Quick and Dirty Weight Training Circuit :-)

Hey Ladies!
August is upon us. Are you in a rut? Oftentimes when I train clients and we are on a program, every three to four weeks before I alter their programs I have them perform a total body weight training circuit with no rest between exercises. This shakes up the body, upping testosterone levels and burns fat for the rest of the day. I challenge you to do the following:

**10 Repetitions of All - Make sure you are using weights that burn those muscle groups by the time you reach rep. 10. You will need to prepare a little by loading the bars and setting up the circuit.

Common Misconceptions About Weight Training: Here's The Lowdown!

As a personal trainer, I often get this question: "But won't weight training make me bulky? I don't want to get big!" Many women refuse to consider strength training as an exercise option, believing that only training methods traditionally associated with women (yoga, Pilates, aerobics) will help them lose the weight and get that lean, feminine physique. First of all, let me just say there’s nothing wrong with the aforementioned three, but adding free weight training can produce absolutely amazing results!

This past weekend and Valentines Day, today, can have a significant effect on our feelings and behavior, whether we admit it or not. Do we all feel loved at all times? Sadly, no, we do not. At the same time, we don't feel like loving others at times. When I say this, I am speaking from experience!

So whatever your feelings about Valentine's Day, I think it's important to remember that before anyone or anything else, we need to love ourselves. I know that sounds selfish and I used to believe that it was, but the above statement is true.
